Harrogate Pirate Radio is back tonight from music fan's house
Taking place today Friday, April 24 at 8pm prompt, this online event isn't by strict definition a pirate station at all - or illegal.
It's an offshoot of the regular Vinyl Sessions fundraiser for Harrogate Hospital.

Organiser Colin Paine said: " Facing the challenge of no more live events for the near future Vinyl Sessions team have put together a number of weekly events to keep people smiling through the lockdown with the rather novel concept of streaming the actual record from a vintage turntable and amplifier through a high quality stereo audio server.
"The presentation team work through a Zoom platform and even Jim Dobbs famous video show still features online.

"It remains a weekly event but also every Friday has a special Pirate Radio style show at 8pm prompt featuring five decades of classic rock, pop and indie hits - all on vinyl for two hours.
"The show is beautifully crafted with chat and authentic jingles etc.
"Although its intended as a listen only via our streamer a Zoom studio camera is available if you want to check the action. "
